Interesting discussion and series of questions followed panelists’ presentations during our workshop at AAL Forum 2022 in Gdańsk.

European Week of Active and Healthy Ageing was a great occasion to share our experience from the project. The main focus of the workshop was the availability of public toilets for the elderly and people with reduced mobility. During the session, we have focused on how we included  the different groups in the process of co-designing toilet solutions. The panellists have shared their methods and tools, obstacles and solutions. The workshop was jointly organised by representatives of different AAL projects exploring different approaches to support users on the toilet providing both physical and cognitive support for people: Paul Panek from TU Wien, Michael Brandstoetter from Cogvis, Merel Verburgt from Golden Days and Magdalena Kubecka from On-site Foundation.
